Johnny Stout

Johnny has always belived that the human form is an artistic landscape and that the drama of black and white photography can draw out its elegant beauty. For more than a decade, Johnny's art has centered within the vast array of special effects that he has created.

Although the female form has always been the subject of his art, the techniques applied have changed throughout the years. His photography has evolved from simple print solarization to the complex film manipulations, projected animal patterns and surreal mirrored images that are currently his unique tradmark. With all of the beautiful styles that he's already formulated, Stout continues to pursue his creative quest for new and unusal images that are possible through the imaginative use of studio lightning and darkroom magic.
