Suzanne King
A Covington, LA native, Suzanne King earned a B.A. in Art from Southeastern Louisiana College in 1967. Following graduation, she joined Shell Oil Company in New Orleans as a graphic artist and designer there and in Houston for 24 years. Continuing her studies at evening art classes at Tulane University College in the late 1960s and early 70s, she participated in many group shows and had two successful solo exhibits at Uptown New Orleans art galleries. Photography, house renderings, silkscreen posters, pottery and etchings were other creative pursuits in the 1980s. During this time, she participated in numerous exhibits, both local and in southeastern states, winning several awards. Suzanne is a managing partner of Fort Isabel Gallery, and a long-time member of the St. Tammany Art Association. Contact Suzanne at skstudio55@gmail.com
