Wes Koon
What started as a simple hobby over twenty years ago, has progressed into a full-time profession. Working in his studio in the heavily wooded pine forest outside Covington, Louisiana, this self-taught artist treats glass with a number of techiques to produce a variety of unique and beautiful creations. His body of work shows a great range of versatility and creativity using strictly "cold working" glass techniques. His one-of-a-kind laminated and hand beveled sculptures are true works of art. the highly polished surfaces and laminations create a multitude of reflections and refractions that draw the viewer into each piece to explore it from within. |
